Alpine-UrbanZest
The Patscherkofel Schutzhaus provides culinary pleasure at the hig-
hest level, on top of Innsbruck’s “Olympic“ Patscherkofel mountain.
The Patscherkofel cable car is easy to reach and accessible from Ig-
ls, superb view included. Excellent alpine cuisine completewith som-
melier supervision is served on top of the Rinner Alm. FromRinn it is
about a 1–1.5 hour hike to the Alm. A little closer to the city is Arzler
Alm, which, thanks to its walkway character, is well suited for those
who prefer a more leisurely pace, making it a popular family outing
(approx. 30minutes hike from Hungerburg). Ride and delight at the
Seegrube restaurant. Take theNordkette funicular andcablecar direc-
tly from the city centreup to Seegrube. AlmgasthausNockhof located
near themiddle stationof theMutterer Alm cable car (openendof Ju-
ne tobeginningof October) offers amost outstanding speciality at an
aerial height. The restaurant serves a 3- or 4-course gourmet menu
during the enjoyable gondola ride with a fantastic view. Reservation
