An der Mittelstation der Muttereralmbahn auf 1.264 Meter kommen
Touren- und Alpinskifahrer ebenso wie Rodler und Winterwanderer
(von der Talstation in etwa 50 Minuten und von der Mutterer Alm in
ca. 1 Stunde) auf ihre Kosten. Absoluter kulinarischer „Renner“ sind
dieKaspressknödel. Auchgut: Hirschragout, RindsgulaschmitPolenta,
Riesenschnitzel, Currywurst undder Ski-Burger.

Mutterer Alm–A closeandpureexperience
Simply take the tram that takes you directly into the ski area Mutte-
rer Alm. 700m to4km long slopesawait you. The racersamongst you
will love the race slope and the downhill “Götzner Abfahrt”, which is
consideredoneof themost beautiful forest descentsof Austria.

The hut, which is located in themiddle of the ski area, is popular for
its tasty cordonbleu, spit, shrimp spaghetti, soupandhomemade ca-
ke. Plus: Sledgesandother funequipment for the slopes canbehired.
Open daily during the regular operating hours of the mountain rail-
ways from 9:00am until 4:00pm, on Wednesdays and Fridays until
10:00pm (for ski touringand sledging)
Nockhofalm
ThisAlpine restaurant is locatedwithin the reachof ski tourers, skiers,
sledgers and even hikers. Everyone can enjoy traditional delicacies
at themiddle station of the cable car Muttereralmbahn on 1,264m
(about 50minutes from the valley stationand1hour from theMutte-
rer Alm by foot). We especially recommend the dumplings “Kaspress-
knödel” and also the deer ragout, the beef ragout with polenta, the
huge schnitzel, thecurry sausageand the ski burger areabsolutelyde-

Nur 19 Kilometer von Innsbruck entfernt erstreckt sich eine hochal-

nussfahrer, Freerider oder Pistenflitzer – jeder findet hier seine idea-
