as Innsbrucker Tor zur Welt ist ein Ort der Begegnung.

Nicht weniger als 25.000 Bahnreisende sind es, die sich

täglich durch die Bahnhofshalle bewegen. Manche ha-

ben etwas Zeit, genießen den Aufenthalt an Österreichs einzigem

Kunstbahnhof und bestaunen die 40 Tonnen schweren Kunst-

gemälde von Max Weiler, die bereits den alten Bahnhof zier-

ten. Manche haben es richtig eilig, laufen fast durch die Halle,

um noch den nächsten abfahrenden Zug zu erreichen. Für diese

Kunden geht sich oft nur mehr ein schneller Take-away-Kaffee,

eine Zeitung oder eine Pizzaschnitte zum Mitnehmen aus. Und

für manche Bahnhofskunden sind die 22 Shops und Gastrono-

miebetriebe die ideale Gelegenheit, alles zu besorgen, was man

für das tägliche Leben braucht.

which is at the same time a place of art, offers more than

20 shops and restaurants, where our customers can find ever-

ything for the daily use and their journey. If you don’t have enough

time, just quickly grab a slice of pizza, a newspaper or a take away

coffee – but if you do have time, take a break and have a look at

the 110 m² large paintings by the famous artist Max Weiler that

decorate the walls. One thing is for sure – you will never get bored

here while waiting for your train!
