Nach 1985 ist Seefeld erneut stolzer Gastgeber der FIS Nordischen Ski Weltmeisterschaften 2019. Seit Generationen wird Tradition in der Olympiaregion Seefeld be- wusst gelebt, Tourismus als Ver- antwortung gesehen und Respekt im Umgang mit Mensch und Kul- tur hochgehalten. Unsere Mission ist es „Hand in Hand“ mit all un- seren Gästen – Athleten, Medien- vertretern, Zuschauern, Sponsoren, Volunteers – bleibende Momente zu kreieren und mit Freunden dieses Nordische Ski Festival zu zelebrieren. W I L L K O M M E N I N S E E F E L D ! S eefeld has played host to the Olympic Nordic disci- plines no fewer than three times – in 1964, 1976 and 2012. Once more after 1985, Seefeld is incredibly proud to host the FIS Nordic World Ski Champion- ships in 2019. For generations the Olympiaregion Seefeld has preserved its traditions, seen tourism as its responsibility and valued respect with different peoples and cultures. Our goal is to create “Hand in Hand” with all of our guests – athletes, media representatives, spectators, sponsors, volunteers – lasting moments and to celebrate with friends this Nordic Ski Festival. For the shopping vouchers of the Seefeld Merchant Guild, available for 10, 20 and 50 euro at Raiffeisenbank Seefeld, can be exchanged at will at all shops bearing the Seelect seal. S E L E C T E D E V E N T S • The Seelect quality standards are not restricted to the shops, busi- nesses and cafés of the town, however, but also apply to the whole of Seefeld, and to a series of events besides. Thus, for instance, Shopping & Wine, on July 20, 2018, combines Seefeld’s relaxed flair with a wine tasting plus night shopping. Moreover, there’ll be a big party all over town, including live music. • A little later, on August 14, follows the next highlight, when fashion, trends and lifestyle are celebrated in a big party at the White Night. Besides a great fashion show, the night shopping event, with its dress code of “simply white,” offers numerous possibilities for a successful bargain hunt. • The annual folkloric climax, on September 8 and 9, is the Old Tyrolean Crafts event which, besides a big traditional costume parade and a lot of folk music, above all presents regional craftsmanship. • The big finale is the Seefeld market days, from October 5 to 7. Apart from a big farmer’s market with many specialities and delicacies from the Olympic region, the main attraction will be many big brands coming at affordable prices.
